About Your Facilitator
Dr. Karen Hardy is our lead facilitator and Dean of Risk Management. Dr. Hardy is a pioneer and leading expert of risk management. She is a founding member and past Board Vice President of the Federal Association for enterprise risk management; former Advisor for risk management policy to the Controller of the United States; and member of the COSO ERM Advisory Board. Dr. Hardy is an industry recipient of the Hall of Fame Award and is a RIMS Certified Risk Management Professional. She is the author of the first award-winning textbook in Enterprise Risk Management in Government. Karen holds a Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Leadership and Human Resources Development from Nova Southeastern University.
